About Us

Our History

In 1952, Liberty State Bank opened its doors as a North Dakota owned full-service bank. Our full-service community bank offers a broad range of commercial and consumer banking services. Local ownership means efficient, effective decision making and advice to help our individual and business customers grow and succeed.

Over the years Liberty State Bank has seen many changes to our community, and we have grown to a bank with over $90 million in assets. Through all of these changes, Liberty State Bank has remained a locally owned and operated bank. As Burke County’s only full-service community owned and chartered bank, we are committed to being the financial backbone of our community.

Community Reinvestment Act

Liberty State Bank was established to serve the various banking, savings, and credit needs of individuals, businesses, and organizations in this community. This bank is committed to serving the financial needs of our trade area, consistent with safe and sound operations. We recognize that this commitment will require a proactive rather than a passive approach in determining and meeting the community needs, including those creditworthy low and moderate income areas and individuals. In Liberty State Bank’s last 4 CRA exams, we have received one satisfactory and three outstanding ratings from our regulators.
